Here I sit...

I am in a class. I am in a class that sucks. I am in a class that sucks so bad, all I can do is play on the internet. I never do this. I have never done this. This class makes me feel like an immature, unappreciative college student, that doesn't pay for thier own schooling. I have one-half of a semester left in this degree's pursuit. I am experiencing senioritis- again.

I don't mind working sooo hard for a class that counts. This class won't count. I don't need a new subject to ponder right now. Really- unless you are a speech therapist, or a historical language buff- this class is squat.

I do not want to learn about morphemes and allophones and all the other things that make swahili anything like english.

I want to read about the Detroit Tiger's spring training and I want to read The Shire and Mystery Musings blogs...hell I want to read about the price of tea in china more than sit and listen to this!

I'm glad to know you find the Shire more interesting than morphemes and allophones.

And...now I know what some of my students are really doing on their laptops while I am teaching Intro to Soc.

It's the Braves year baby!
