They Call me Tater Salad

So as promised, yet delayed, my post about going to the Ron White concert.

Ron White is a funny man. Its funny how we laugh at everything a supposedly funny person utters. I laughed at things that most likely- arent really that funny. This happens in this setting- it happens in social settings with people who are know as "funny". But in all reality- Mr. White is funny. Very vulgar- but fricking funny. I dont even really know how to explain what he said, and why it was funny. He has a stage presence and dimeanor that builds everything he is going to say nearly ten fold. The cigar and whiskey just add to the whole thing. It keeps you wondering if he is drunk, especially when you know you are in the second show of the night.

A few quotes:
" we, me and my wife, have this private plane you people bought us"
He referrenced us buying him stuff a lot- funny
"you think I ran out of stuff?....funny how the other 2,500 people in here know that its not ok to yell stuff at me when I take a drink...shut up."
He was talking to some idiot who kept yelling out old parts of his act he wanted to hear...the guy was quiet after this!
His whole bit on the color coded US security situation- very funny...
He also had this thing about saving the US money- and eventually making it money by buying central america back with all of the drug money we have confiscated from them and then sell it back little by little with interest- theyd never pay all of it, just enough to make us some moneyand then we could foreclose the property and own it all.....and poof the national debt would vanish...give em back their crappy infertile land.
Made sense really.

Anyhow- to give all of the stuff that I laughed at would be annoying.

It was great- Id never been to a stand up type thing.
