So its been over a month since my last post. I'm not sure if anyone even reads this thing anymore, but even so, its an outlet for my thoughts on life. I will update when I feel the need!
So, recently trekking through a very busy last month of the fall semester has been challenging. I say that with a mature sound, and grown up attitude. Here is why:
I have worked harder in the past 3 months than I ever have for school. I have had more work to do, and have spent more time studying and accomplishing school related tasks than ever before. At any other time in my life this would be best described as "sucking". This time was different. I have entered the academic world for a second go 'round and am older than everyone it seems. I think I could be better friends with my professors than my classmates. But this busy semester has not "sucked". It has been a challenge. I love that I see this as a challenge. I have come over the hump of getting through hard classes and jumping through hoops to get where I think I NEED to be. I have been able to take on the teaching profession with more enthusiasm than any other thing I have ever sought out...maybe besides football. But we all know that I was never going to be John Elway- I just wanted to think so. I truly believe that I can be a great teacher. I am doing everything in my power to be a great teacher, and it doesn't suck...its a challenge, but one I accept with excitement!
